Discover Healing Through IFS Therapy in Broomfield, CO

Helping you feel no longer defined by the pain of your past, but free to live with authenticity, self-trust, and emotional freedom.

Some days, simply getting through the day feels like a silent battle no one else sees.

You’re lying in bed at midnight, eyes wide open, replaying that conversation from earlier – Did I say too much? Not enough? – while the rest of the world seems to be sleeping soundly. You kept it together all day: answered emails, smiled through the meeting, even made dinner. But now, in the quiet, it hits you – I’m exhausted from pretending I’m okay.

You’re not overreacting. You’re not too sensitive. You’re carrying the weight of a lifetime spent walking on eggshells and putting everyone else first.

You’ve achieved a lot, but inside, it still feels like you’re not enough. The truth is, you’re insightful, capable, and doing the hard work – but years of self-doubt and survival mode have made it hard to imagine what it feels like to actually feel safe in your own skin.

If trusting your needs, setting boundaries, or resting without guilt feels impossible, it’s not because you’re broken – it’s because protective parts of you have been working overtime to keep you safe.

Through IFS therapy and parts work, I’ll help you gently connect with those parts, so they no longer have to carry the burden alone. Together, we’ll nurture your Self energy – the calm, clear, compassionate presence within you – so that healing isn’t just about managing symptoms, but about returning home to the you that’s always been there, waiting to be trusted.

Do any of the following resonate with you?

  • You struggle to trust your emotions because they often feel too big, too fast, or too confusing

  • You constantly second-guess yourself, afraid of making the wrong choice or upsetting someone.

  • You feel responsible for everyone else’s feelings, even when it's draining or unfair to you

  • You carry a deep sense of shame or unworthiness that whispers, “Something is wrong with me.”

  • You’ve mastered keeping it together on the outside, but inside, you feel exhausted, anxious, and alone.

If these sound true for you, I want you to know that I want you to know that there is nothing wrong with you – your emotions, your reactions, and even your inner conflicts are all understandable responses to experiences you were never meant to face alone.

You might downplay your pain, telling yourself “It’s not that bad” or “Other people have it worse.” The truth is, you deserve empathy and non-judgmental support.

IFS-guided therapy can help you heal the parts of you that still carry the pain.

It’s possible to feel better. Imagine a life where you could...

  • Break free from emotional triggers that hijack your reactions and find calm.

  • Reclaim your sense of worth and stop seeking validation from others.

  • Feel at peace with your past and stop letting it control your present.

  • Trust yourself and your decisions, free from self-doubt and second-guessing.

  • Discover your true self and start living in alignment with your needs and desires

IFS-Guided Therapy helps you rise above your challenges and start moving towards your ideal life with less shame, guilt, and the feeling of never being "enough" and more inner peace and calm, even in the face of challenges.

You will get the inner knowledge you need to identify and honor the different parts of yourself without judgment, and you will be able to create a life that feels aligned with your true self, not the trauma that once defined you.

I get that you might be afraid you’ll be judged or misunderstood. You might worry that your experiences and emotional reactions are too much, or that the therapist might not truly understand the depth of your pain. I’ve seen this with many clients, and I will work hard to create a shame-free space for your story.

Through IFS-guided therapy, I’ve helped countless women reclaim their inner peace, break free from self-doubt, and heal the parts of themselves that have been holding onto pain. With my guidance, they’ve discovered the strength to live authentically, set healthy boundaries, and build a life rooted in self-compassion and clarity.

How IFS-Guided Therapy Works

IFS-Guided Therapy consists of 50-minute, one-on-one sessions (virtual or in-person) that help you work through your concerns.

In addition to listening, I will help you explore the different parts of yourself—the ones that hold pain, fear, or protective mechanisms – and guide them toward healing.

Through the IFS process, we will work together to unblend your parts, create a dialogue between them, and help you develop a deeper understanding of your internal system. This will allow you to heal the parts that are carrying old wounds, release limiting beliefs, and bring more balance and self-compassion into your life.

Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

  1. Creating a Safe, Compassionate Space
From the moment we begin, I will create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel fully accepted and comfortable. You’ll be encouraged to share your experiences, emotions, and concerns without fear of criticism or rejection.

  2. Understanding Your Internal System
As we begin to explore your story, I’ll help you understand how your different “parts” (emotional, mental, and protective aspects of you) influence your thoughts, behaviors, and struggles. This step is key in helping us see how your past trauma has shaped your current emotional landscape.

  3. Addressing Immediate Concerns and Emotional Regulation
We will start by focusing on your immediate needs—learning tools for managing intense emotions, navigating challenging life situations, and finding ways to calm your mind and body. This will help you feel more grounded and in control in your day-to-day life.

  4. Exploring Your Goals for Healing and Life
We will identify your goals for therapy, but also explore what you want for your life beyond just “fixing” problems. What does healing look like for you? How do you envision yourself in the future, once you have processed and healed parts of your past?

  5. Identifying and Releasing Blocked Parts
With your goals in mind, we’ll begin working with the specific parts of you that are holding onto past trauma or behaviors that no longer serve you. Through IFS, we’ll access these parts, understand their protective roles, and help them shift, so you can live with more emotional freedom and self-compassion.

  6. Ongoing Progress and Integration
Over time, you’ll start to notice how your internal system shifts, making it easier to make decisions, set healthy boundaries, and engage in life with more clarity and confidence. IFS therapy empowers you to reclaim control of your emotions, deepen your self-awareness, and create lasting change in your life. Each step forward will bring you closer to the healing and peace you deserve.

Research shows that Internal Family Systems therapy can positively change your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.

FAQs

  • Many women I work with have already tried talk therapy, journaling, or self-help—but still feel stuck. IFS (Internal Family Systems) takes a different approach: instead of analyzing your thoughts or pushing through your symptoms, it helps you connect with the parts of you that carry pain, shame, or fear—and builds a relationship with them from a place of compassion, not judgment. Healing happens from the inside out.

  • This is such a common fear. Many women I see have survived by staying strong, busy, and in control. IFS honors those protective parts of you—it doesn’t try to tear down your defenses, but gently invites them to soften at their own pace. We move slowly and safely, always respecting your inner system's readiness. You’ll never be pushed to go deeper than you feel prepared to.

  • IFS is particularly effective for complex and developmental trauma—the kind that comes from growing up with emotionally unavailable, critical, or abusive caregivers. You don’t have to have a specific “event” to heal. If you carry invisible wounds like chronic self-doubt, people-pleasing, emotional numbness, or feeling like you’re never enough, IFS can help you find clarity, compassion, and wholeness.

  • You’re not expected to show up knowing how to do this—that’s what therapy is for. Most women start off feeling disconnected or unsure, and that’s okay. I’ll guide you gently, helping you learn how to notice, listen to, and care for the different parts of you that show up. Over time, your relationship with your Self—the wise, calm, grounded center within you—will grow stronger and more natural.

  • If you’re tired of holding everything together on the outside while quietly falling apart inside… if you crave real, lasting healing instead of just coping… and if you’re ready to explore your inner world with compassion instead of criticism—IFS could be the path you’ve been searching for. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be willing to begin.

Let’s Get Started Today.

You don’t have to keep doing this alone.
